Christmas Lights

Here is a picture of our house all decked out with holiday pride. Terry put our lights up this year in a very inventive way. Randy (Terry's brother) came up with this method a few years ago and Terry tried it out this year. Here are the steps to putting up lights "The Blunt" way.
1. Measure the top of the house
2. For each straight edge measure and cut accordingly
3. Attach each strait edge with a hinge
4. Spray paint boards white
5. Staple icicle lights all across the boards
6. Place nails on house at the end of each strait edge
7. place nail holes on the boards
8. Get on a really tall ladder and hang boards on the nail holes.
9. Plug in lights and enjoy
Terry says this method will save him time in the years to follow because all he will have to do is hang the boards on the nails. What a creative thinker!
Crib Drama

Right now we are preparing Addison's room. On Saturday Terry and I attempted to put together her crib. It was obviously our first time doing something like this because we assembled the entire thing in the living room. It wasn't until the time came to move it to her room when we realized that it didn't fit down the hall or through the door way. Needless to say, after a few choice words and some flying objects, we disassembled the crib and managed to put it back together in her room. Terry now gets angry every time he looks at the crib, hopefully that goes away with time!
